This video is a reflection on the idea of a cancelled future. After the collapse of the USSR, post-Soviet people found themselves robbed of the idea of a future - the bright communist future, for which many had sacrificed. The endless repetition of numbers displayed by traffic lights reflects a sense of stagnation, an illusion of progress without real change.
